  Terrible service. Absolutely horrific. Had a rain check for an item that had been on sale in the deli. When I came back and presented the rain check, the person in the deli looked at it like it was something written in Chinese, took it to the deli mgr, they conferred, then I received my item - but at the full price, not the rain check price. I told them, and the person and the mgr again conferred for like 3 min, and then I received my item. In addition, the wait at the deli is ridiculous. I have waited for 12-15 min only to give up and leave. Moreover - there is a person at the seafood/fish dept who is so rude and obnoxious my wife refuses to buy anything there when that person is there. Also, one time I was looking for an unsual item but which I know they carry at the Publix at Jog/Lantana for instance. The person who asked me if they could help me find something was none other than the service manager - but she was incredibly rude, asked me what the item was for (eating) then went off, stating she would check on it - and she never returned, just left me there standing like an idiot for 7 minutes - then, as I was leaving, I saw her busy with something else. This Publix is the closest, but like another reviewer stated, I go out of my way to avoid this one. Never had a problem with the Publix at Jog/Lantana, Military/Melaluca or Jog/Le Chalet.

  If you're trying to cash a check here, make sure your business is "well known" by the great pubix corporation. God forbid i try to cash my work check from a legitimate company THEY "don't have enough information about". Now, because i have no bank, i also have no money to take my mother out for her birthday. Way to go, jerks. You've just converted me to a Winn-Dixie customer.
